We have experienced technicians to perform this type of testing and all the necessary equipment for the Measurement of Noise Power .
Sound Power
A sound source is characterized by power radiating in free field (I.E. away from any obstacle), regardless of their spatial location. By definition, power is a measure of the energy radiated by a sound source.
To express this amount in dB, The sound power level, usually represented by SWL or Lw, is defined as:
![]()
where W0 is the reference sound power
The laboratory performs the determination of sound power levels emitted by noise sources, from the sound pressure, according to the requirements of EN ISO 3746:2010.
The Laboratory is accredited by IPAC, for this test according to EN ISO / IEC 17025.
The phases in which our work is divided are:
- Measurement of sound power with equipment, or installation, in their normal operating conditions;
- Reporting.
