Ver Gryllus campestris

According to the RGR (DL 9/2007), tonal components may determine the application of a penalty 3 dB(A) if they are specific features of the Private Noise. The presence of certain types of animals can lead to the presence of tonal components and influence the results of noise measurements.

This is the case of Gryllus campestris, one of crickets most abundant species in Portuguese territory, that with its pretty high-pitched singing can check tonal characteristics at high frequencies the measurements of ambient noise / private / residual, especially in rural areas.

In this video you can hear the sound typically issued by cricket-the-field and monitor the spectral analysis FFT, which shows the presence of the tonal components 5 kHz.

They have passed unscathed under the beards of the authorities. It is more than time to do justice and finally a serious attack on public health and the population's right to tranquility. Some are contributing for others to spend the night in revelry serrazinar the ears of those who just rest from so much work. It is clearly a lack of political will and an effective lobbying maneuver by some established power and counter-power forces. I suggest a petition for the establishment of quotas per km2 for crickets, cicadas and fireflies starting from 2k signatures to avoid the initial inertia effect!
